Learning

This article was talking about learning outside of the classroom. It talked about the benefits and the disadvantages to learning online. This article was very informative and used direct language to show its point. The article was interesting and really got me thinking. In the paragraph it says,
All rights to Cordobo
"I believe that this is what educators must do now. We must engage with these new technologies and their potential to expand our own understanding and methods in this vastly different landscape. We must know for ourselves how to create, grow, and navigate these collaborative spaces in safe, effective, and ethical ways. And we must be able to model those shifts for our students and counsel them effectively when they run across problems with these tools."

I think that this quote encompasses this whole article. It shows that while it is important to use other sources outside of the classroom it can also be dangerous. It shows that while students can have the tools on the internet to learn, they can also have them to cheat and do other things. The internet can bring on trouble that one never has in the classroom. I for one would like to learn more about our nation's government and how everything works. I know this is broad but I am very interested in government. I do believe that while the internet can be annoying and frustrating the possibilities that it offers our classroom out-way the downsides. I am excited about using the internet as a new way of learning. While I already use Wikipedia and Google, I want to see what other sources I can use. In the article, I highlighted areas that I found interesting.
